Military Mentor Roll Call of the Services
Each year the Department of Defense lends a cohort of competitively selected military officers from each service branch to serve as elite chaperones and guides for the student delegates.
The 2022 USSYP Military Mentors prepared personal introductory videos to create the inaugural Military Mentor Roll Call of the Services that provided the formal introduction of the USSYP Military Mentors during the program’s opening event.
Delegate Roll Call of the States
Washington Week Online offered new challenges, opportunities and innovations. Prior to the program, delegates were asked to collaborate and use their imaginations (and cell phones) to record facts and images from their home state, including their state motto, important aspects of state history, an iconic state product or food or a fun cultural detail to give a snapshot of the place they call home. This student driven production is the Delegate Roll Call of the States, providing a unifying kick-off to the program on Welcome Night, introducing the delegates and uniting the group through the breadth, beauty and diversity of America.
